The RBS series road blockers are designed for installation at “surface level” by means of chemical anchors, in order to avoid the execution of civil works and therefore any issue relating to the presence of sub-services.
These security systems are versatile thanks to their compact design, in fact the control unit and the hydraulic pump are integrated in the side columns.
The RBS are available in two variants:
- Road blocker RBS 500
- Road blocker RBS 1000

Recommended uses
The Road Blocker Surface are designed with control unit and the hydraulic unit integrated in the side columns giving this product a compact design. The lengths available are:
- 3,500 mm
- 4,500 mm
- 5,500 mm
RBS 500 is 500mm high and it is recommended for applications that require a standard security level. It is crash tested PAS68 and IWA14 with a vehicle of 3500 Kg at 32 Km/h.
RBS 1000 is the high security version, Crash tested at 50 Km/h with a truck of 7,5 tons (M30level). This Road Blocker Surface is available in three versions: automatic, semi-automatic and with dead-man control.
Wide range of optional configurations:
- custom colors,
- integrated flashing light (only for RBS1000),
- EFO emergency function (only for RBS1000),
- manual operation in case of power failure,
- biodegradable oil for hydraulic unit.
