TYRE KILLER SERIES WITH STEEL SPIKES
The Tyre Killer Series is available in two variants with different features to meet the any needs:
- Tyre killer Small: mechanical version, they are used for perimeter protection at the exit of companies, hotels, convention centers and similar. These are enable controlled one-way traffic; they prevent traffic in the opposite direction, with spikes slashing the tires to stop the vehicle within just a few meters. They are ideal solutions for a low frequencies of use.
- Tyre killer Big: electro-hydraulic version, they are typically used for perimeter protection of military bases, embassies, government buildings, airport and some other important public services places, in car parking and as an anti-terrorism measure. They are mounted into the ground, are suitable for high frequencies of use. Tyre Killers are ideal for an improved protection, also against larger vehicles such as lorries.

General features
Recommended use
Tyre Killers Small are a security system with steel spikes 80mm high. It uses mechanical movement and counterweights, they are used to allow only the exit of vehicles from a supervised area but to prevent the entrance to unauthorized ones.
They are available in various lengths: 2,000mm; 4,000mm; 5,000mm and 6,000mm.
they have been designed and built in two modules of different lengths; one of one meters and the other of two meters. The modules are modular to able realize Tyre Killers in any length, also are available (optional) two “semicircular terminals” on the modules in the initial and terminal part, for aesthetics completeness and safety improvement.
The Tyre Killers Small are surface mounted and therefore placed on the ground fixed with chemical anchors.
Wide range of optional configurations:
- electro-piston blocking spikes in low position to allow the two traffic ways transit,
- additional mechanical lock sleeve.
Tyre Killer Big is the security system with steel spikes 450mm high.
They are electro-hydraulic operated, the hydraulic pump is housed in a separate cabinet together with the control unit. Tyre Killers are an effective way to stop even wider vehicles than cars. When lowered they are totally hidden in the street surface, so they allow the drive to all vehicles; when raised, they can stop even great trucks at a speed of 50 Km/h.
The lengths available are: 2,000mm; 4,000mm; 5,000mm and 6,000mm.
