HIGH SECURITY RANGE BARRIER

For perimeter protection of sensitive areas

The Barrier is a motorized security system designed for anti-terrorism protection, suitable for high frequencies of use ( 2000 cycles / day). Pilomat Barrier is equipped with an integrated hydraulic pump, in addition the control unit managed by PLC guarantees high performances and regular rising and lowering speeds.

Motorized Pilomat Barrier with vertical movement is available in different lengths (from 3 meters to 6 meters), they all have a considerable mechanical strength to meet the highest anti-terrorism security standards because they are designed to resist to a possible impact against a truck having a mass of 6.800 Kg which drives at 80Km/h. Our Barrier is built in compliance with ASTM, PAS68 and IWA14 standards.

They are typically used for perimeter protection of military bases, Embassies, government buildings, airports and other sensitive public places as an anti-terrorism measure. When the barrier is fully lowered, the beam is hidden in the underground channel to let the vehicles drive through.

Hydraulic movement: the most  reliable technology at all temperatures and weather conditions but especially for the intensive use.

Built-in hydraulic pump: the philosophy offers many advantages, especially in installations in places with severe winter temperatures or when the installation requires a considerable distance (up to 80 meters) between the barriers and the control unit.

Control unit equipped with PLC: this solution ensures regular rising/lowering speed also in case of different temperature range.
